Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of foreign investment as an important source of overcoming the backwardness in the socio-economic development of Pakistan. This is because foreign investment is only a source of funding to improve the structure of the economy and to diversify and diversify the country’s exports. Due to foreign investments, technical, technological and innovative achievements are transferred to the industry, thereby introducing new technologies, new knowledge, better management and marketing methods in production, which contributes to an increase in the income of the population, their consumption of high-quality goods and products, in addition, there is a positive impact on social and economic development and increasing the level of well-being of the country’s population.
