Abstract

This investigation is a corpus-based methodology directed to analyze the two speakers as well and extremely as far as what feeling extremity types can be credited to the words in Alliance with these qualifiers. These qualifiers are for the most part known as strengthening a given significance of adjusted words, remarkably modifiers, action words or things. Notwithstanding, in light of the exact assessment of the British National Corpus (BNC), we accept that the noticeable feeling extremity sort of the words arranged with very is not at all like that of the words gathered with as well. For example, while the modifiers gathered with very communicates rather a positive conclusion extremity like in 'The soup is extremely delectable', those showed up with too generally expressa negative estimation extremity like in 'This vehicle is excessively costly'. In many past works, it is attested that it is because of the specific semantic capacity of the verb modifier as well, since regardless of what semantic kinds of descriptors are, the arrangements like excessively little, too brightor too youthful express a negative assessment. By and by, we advocate that this understanding doesn't result from the unique capacity of as well, however from the semantic direction itself of the words gathered with these qualifiers.
